The following is an edited section of the Notification of Claimed Infringement Notice that I, James Shelley, sent to Substack in April 2021, as per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
It has been brought to my attention that Thibaut (connectom.substack.com) is consistently and repeatedly plagiarizing my writing. On my count, he has plagiarized my work at least 25 times on Substack. This includes material I originally published in the Caesura Letters (a subscription newsletter I published between 2012 and 2015) and writing that I have posted on my personal blog. I have outlined each infringement below. Where applicable, the PDF versions of the Caesura Letters back issues (which are still available for purchase) are attached for verification.
