Less is More: Simple Tools for Intervening in Complicated, Chaotic, and Complex Systems
Monday, September 30, 2019
8:30 am - 4:00 pm
201 King Street
Drawing on complexity and systems theory, Disruptive Simplicity demonstrates how the tendency to favour ‘bigger and better’ programming tends yield inefficient and even counterproductive outcomes in the long run. Participants will develop a rationale for shift organizational culture away from the addiction of ‘more and faster’ towards a more focused practice of ‘less and intentional’ activity. Through the deepening understanding of the power of simplicity to intervene in complex environments, this workshop presents tools for doing less in order to identify and invest in the essentials.
